Since graduating from law school, Dan has helped many people who were victims of negligence; he loves what he does and considers going to law school the best decision of his life. One of Dan’s favorite parts of the legal process is the one-on-one conversations he has with his clients. Listening to a client’s story, Dan becomes a trusted family friend, rather than just a lawyer. He finds these relationships extremely gratifying, particularly when he secures a full, fair settlement that the insurance company had been delaying or denying.
On the personal side, Dan is equally passionate about spending time with his wife and children. With a son and daughter Dan spends most of his time outside the office engaged in family activities. Dan believes that once a client speaks to him, they should no longer feel confused about the process because he will take the time to comprehensively describe the process, letting each client know they can call or text him with any questions regarding their claim.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dan Makled went into business with his father, who owned a number of small businesses in the City of Detroit. Dan later wanted to pursue a field that allowed him to feel as though he was serving a higher purpose. Dan decided he could make a difference in the legal field and returned to law school, graduating near the top of his class.
The history of Dan Makled Law is to provide quality representation for all injury victims, combined with excellent customer service. Dan is never afraid to go to trial and prepares every case as though it will go to trial. Many law firms will accept a much lower settlement, just to avoid going to trial, but Dan thrives on trying a case for a client in front of a jury. Dan began his legal career working at a large insurance defense firm. He defended against claims to the insurance companies, quickly learning exactly how insurance companies think and act. He now represents injury clients against big insurance companies.
Dan “stays in his lane,” in the sense that he does one thing only—personal injury claims. While many other firms “dabble” in many legal areas, Dan is laser-focused on personal injury, making him highly skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable about every aspect of personal injury claims. Dan’s experience working with adjusters and insurance companies on the defense side gives him a unique perspective that most personal injury attorneys simply do not have.
